Villa Heureuse

Villa Hureuse is a detached villa, found in a truly exceptional setting. Situated in the stunning mountainous Valley Heureuse, directly overlooking a breathtaking tumbling stream yet it is only 5 mins drive from the center of Sorède which has a full range of shops & restaurants. Beautiful sandy Mediterranean beaches are only 15 mins drive away. The newly decorated house is laid out on two floors & offers three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people, bathroom, separate W.C. fully fitted kitchen & large sitting room/ dining room as well as separate conservatory. Outside there is private parking & three large terraces. Just outside the property you will be able to explore the naturally formed swimming pool, which is part of the stream.

With the stream nearby it is best suited to families with older children.

A spiral staircase leads to two adjoining double bedrooms which can be separated or left as one space. There are 2 single beds on each side. These bedrooms lead to a large terrace.

Apartement Riviere

A few steps lead to the private entrance located to right of Villa Heureuse. It situated in a peaceful & idyllic setting. This means it is ideal for a couple or family. It could also be rented in combination with Villa Heureuse for a larger group/family.

Outside

Mature terraced gardens offer stunning stream & waterfall views, with plenty of space. Steps may however make it difficult for young children or the elderly. Direct access to the stream & natural pool is via a gate. The Natural pool (part of the stream) is wonderful for swimming & exploring. A BBQ, Wooden table & chairs are provided for outdoor dining which is a real pleasure here. The ping pong table also offers the opportunity of hours of fun.
Parking is available on the road outside slightly above the apartment. It is a safe area with little traffic.

The apartment is lower ground floor level & all on one floor (see plan).

Bedroom 1

The front door leads to a double bedroom which offers floor to ceiling windows with views over terraced gardens & stream allowing in plenty of light. There is a comfortable pull down double bed & plenty of storage.

Living area
Leading from the bedroom to the living area a modern American Kitchen includes a full size oven, ceramic 4 ring hob, fridge/ freezer, dishwasher & storage.
The table & chairs seat up to 4 people. A sofa & chairs are also provided. Again full floor to ceiling windows allow you to enjoy great views.

The second bedroom overlooks the stream. Here there are 2 single beds & storage cupboard.

 

The whole apartment has been recently modernised with wooden floors throughout. Unobstructed views of the stream & gardens make it feel lovely & private. The constant sound of running water is beautifully soothing.
The apartment is heated by radiators & fans are provided for the summer.
